The U.S. State Department designates countries as "embargoed" due to political unrest, poor economical conditions, or pressure from the United Nations. Insurances coverage is void if cargo is transshipped through these countries or when transporting conveyance is registered/licensed in these countries.
A. Insurance coverage is NOT available for shipments moving to/from the following countries: |

B. CAMBODIA, CUBA, LAO or VIETNAM: See TGI for specific requirements for securing insurance coverage.
C. Insurance coverage is available to the PORT ONLY for the following destination countries: |
Bosnia ** Croatia ** Herzegovina ** Macedonia ** Nigeria ** Russia ** Slovenia |
1. Shipment can be insured on a door-to-port basis to the first air or water port of entry.
2. Household goods/personal effects shipments moving door-to-port will be insured for limited coverage under a Named Perils Program certificate. See Named Perils Certificate for a detailed description of the coverage.
3. Named Perils coverage for door-to-port shipments terminates immediately upon arrival of the transporting conveyance at the air or water port of debarkation. No inland transportation or destination coverage is provided.
D. LEBANON: Specific conditions for securing insurance coverage apply as follows:
1. Outer household goods shipping container(s) must be moved on a door-to-door basis without being opened enroute.
2. A professional household goods moving company must deliver the shipment.
3. Underwriter requires a deductible of $500.00 to preclude minor claims, due to lack of appropriate repair facilities in Lebanon.
4. The appropriate insurance rate will be increase by $.40.
5. All other terms and conditions of the certificate apply. |
